GrandMA3 intensive face-to-face course
The GrandMA3 is the ultimate lighting control system. It's a system that adapts to any situation, from theatrical productions to the most demanding musical events in the world. Such flexibility requires numerous options and possible workflows, making a thorough understanding of the console essential.
This course will teach you everything you need to know to work with the console. Over three days, we'll cover the most important topics in 24 lessons, from patching and organizing the console to programming with timecode and recipes.
Prior knowledge
This course is designed for professionals with experience in stage lighting. Prior knowledge of the GrandMA3 is not required, although familiarity with any console will be helpful.
Course organization
The course consists of 3 days of instruction (April 14, 15, and 16, 2026) from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In a small group of up to 12 students, we will work with real consoles and lighting equipment, with a practical component in each lesson.
The course includes the use of the consoles, spotlights and necessary infrastructure, but it is recommended to bring a laptop with version 2.3.2.0 of GrandMA3 onPC (MAC or Windows) installed and with a wired network interface (RJ45)
Conditions
We reserve the right to cancel the course (with a refund of the amount paid) in the event of:
- Not reaching the minimum of 6 students
- Illness or disability of the teacher.
In any case, we are committed to trying to find other alternatives together with the students involved (such as a change of dates) and leaving cancellation as a last resort.
