Live distance learning
We offer a comprehensive program of GrandMA3 and Dependency R4 courses in both English and Spanish.
The courses cover practical topics that you can directly apply to your lighting work.
We work live via video conference with limited groups to be able to give the necessary attention to each student.
All you need is a computer and a good internet connection to follow the GrandMA3 courses. For the exercises in the Dependence R4 course, you also need a software license.
If the course you're looking for doesn't currently have scheduled dates, you can still register your interest without any obligation. The more people who register, the sooner we'll look for new dates. We'll also notify all interested parties when a new session is scheduled.
The courses are recorded (without students present) so that students can review missed details or even missed lessons later. While we recommend attending the courses live for optimal learning, we understand that sometimes you can't wait for the course to be re-released. Therefore, while a course is unavailable, you can also purchase the recording of the previous course.
GrandMA3
Phasers Version 2.4

In version 2.4 of the GrandMA3 software, phaser programming in combination with recipes has been greatly improved. In this course, we provide all the details about the new phaser recipe editor and how to use it to create amazing effects.
Version 2.4 is not yet available. Therefore, there are no dates for this course. We will publish the dates when version 2.4 is officially released.

This is the ideal course if you're looking to get started with lighting control or are coming from another console, including the GrandMA2. In one week, we cover all the topics you need to know to control lights and create a simple show. We cover the user interface, patching, light management, palettes, sequences, and effects in detail.

Proper programming before the actual setup will take your show to the next level. We'll create a show from scratch using advanced techniques that save significant time once you arrive at the venue, while allowing you maximum flexibility to adapt to what might happen. We'll delve into MAtricks, Recipes, Layouts, Timecode, Connections, and Macros, among other topics.

Depence R4 for shows

Depence R4 is probably the most realistic visualizer on the market. An essential tool for preparing your show before setting up the equipment and presenting the design to the client. In four days, we'll cover all the aspects you need to visualize and render your show. During the first three days, we'll create a simple show step by step. On the last day, we'll import a large-format show.

GrandMA3
GDTF Fixtures

The MA3's spotlight profiles are based on the GDTF format. This format is very comprehensive, providing information for CAD, previewing, and managing each spotlight. This, however, makes it more difficult to create and adapt profiles to our needs. In this two-day course, we teach this entire process both through GDTF share and from within the console.

Recipes are one of MA3's standout tools. A recipe-based show is much more flexible and can be quickly adapted to a different setup. However, the process of creating a show where everything is recipe-based can be somewhat more laborious. In two days, we'll evaluate the pros, cons, and tricks of programming with recipes.

Networks are increasingly being used to send signals to fixtures, connect consoles, send timecode, send and receive video signals, and much more. This is why MA3 consoles have three independent network ports. In these two days, we'll explore how networks work, how the MA3 utilizes resources, and how we can configure and optimize our systems.

Micro Plugins

Plugins are a tool that allows you to add new functions to the console. Complex plugins exist for a variety of tasks. Micro plugins utilize the power of plugins for small tasks, avoiding the complexity of large plugins. In these two days, you'll learn how to create micro plugins capable of tasks that macros can't reach.
