Depence R4 for shows
Depence R4 is probably the most realistic visualizer on the market. It's an essential tool for preparing the show before setting up the equipment and showing the design to the client. In two days, we'll cover all the aspects we need to visualize and render our show, including video, special effects, fireworks, audiences, and lasers.
Technical requirements
A strong internet connection is required, as the classes will be live online. We recommend having at least a 15" screen dedicated to the session.
This course can be taken without access to the Depence R4 software. However, having the software on hand to practice what we cover in the course will greatly enhance the experience.
Please note that the software requires, in addition to the license, a computer with a good graphics card to run. For more information, see the official Syncronorm website.
Prior knowledge
To follow this course, a basic understanding of lighting control is required. Applicants should understand what a patch is, what a light's attributes are, and what the DMX, Artnet, and sACN protocols are.
Course organization
The course consists of four days, each with three hours of instruction, delivered via Microsoft Teams. After each topic is explained, we complete a joint exercise and there will be time for questions. Each session is recorded and made available to students for a month so they can recall details or make up for missed sessions.
Conditions
We reserve the right to cancel the course (with a refund of the amount paid) in the event of:
- Not reaching the minimum of 6 students per course
- Illness or disability of the teacher.
- Impossibility due to live work.
In any case, we are committed to seeking alternative options with the students involved (such as a change of dates) and leaving cancellation as a last resort. If a student wishes to cancel their registration, they have the right to a refund of 50% of the fee paid.
