Automating with plugins
Plugins are the ultimate way to automate MA systems. In this preview to the automation track we explain the advantages of using plugins.
Using grandMA2 3D to visualize ArtNet (ES)
By combining MA onPC and MA3D, you can create a visualizer with an Artnet or sACN input that can be connected to any console. This can be very useful for festival operators setting up their show offline while the equipment is occupied by another operator. Especially if they already have a show for the setup created in MA.
Create a bounce effect in a phaser (EN)
In this video I explain how to create a phaser with a bounce effect. You can store the phaser in a preset or a cue. The fixtures that are part of the phaser have different width values to achieve the bounce effect. The phaser therefore can only be a selected phaser.
Use MA commands in Lua plugins (EN)
Creating basic plugins is not as hard as it seems. This video is the first of a series to show how easy it is to create basic, but powerful Lua plugins for GrandMA3 systems. In this first tutorial I explain how you can send MA commands from Lua so that it can do everything you can do with a macro.
